Sometimes, you are not depressed; you just have to call your sister and tell each other about the most insignificant things.
Sometimes, you are not depressed; you just have to listen to your favourite music, singing it word for word, at the top of your lungs, and dancing with no care.
Sometimes, you are not depressed; the anxiety you feel is because of the slides on your phone that you've not started reading yet or your books waiting for you to start reading them.
Sometimes, you are not depressed; you just need to eat your favourite food, binge-watch movies and shows, rewatch your favourite kdrama, giggle as if it's your first time seeing it.
Sometimes, you are not depressed; you just miss your Mum or your Dad. Call them. Don't wait for them to call first.
Sometimes, the anxiety that burns in your heart is not depression. You just have to talk to God. Pray for ease. Pray for peace. It works every time. I'm a testament to this.
Depression is a real thing. But sometimes, it's okay to feel lonely, to feel anxious, to feel overwhelmed. But do not let those emotions take control over you. Talk to God, talk to people you love, do things that don't have to make sense to others but make you happy. You'll realize that life is worth living after all.
